Food Systems

Living in a rural agricultural community, I’m continually inspired by the ways our food connects us—to the land, to each other, and to the larger cycles of life. These works explore farming, foraging, and the shared rituals that root us in place and nourish both body and spirit.

Children’s Books

This collection features my published and forthcoming children’s book projects, all rooted in a love of nature and interconnected storytelling. My debut picture book, I Am the Thirsty Desert—a Eureka! Nonfiction Honor Book—explores the desert’s resilience through lyrical text and collage. My pre-published titles (Turnips for Henry (written by Andrea Bemis), Connected, and The Yellow Stone of Yellowstone) each highlight the relationships that link living things, from ecosystems and seasons to beloved animals and iconic landscapes. Together, these works celebrate curiosity, ecology, and our place in the natural world.
